The City Council meeting videos that Sheila recorded (the council stopped their own recordings in 2022) had to have a place to be published. With the help of Cindy Robertson, Sheila started a page Concerned Citizens for Sulphur. Then she saw the need for a Facebook group for citizens to post their own thoughts in new threads.
The Home Rule Charter Commission began at the end of 2022. Sheila attended/videoed every meeting. CC4S was a place that citizens learned of the doomed Charter. It was voted down 72% to 28%.
This group is only successful because of citizen interest.
