In 2022, the City Council voted to stop videoing their own meetings. Sheila attended/videoed their meetings for two years when the state began requiring them to video and post.
The council NEVER gave a reason for stopping. Multiple citizens asked the council members repeatedly for a reason. None was given. This lack of respect for citizens inquiries on this and other topics was what drove Sheila to be more involved in investigating actions and in-actions of the administration and council. And ultimately drove Sheila to run for a council seat.
